Al Leith Racing is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at info@al-leithracing.com.

Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we receive your full name, email address, mobile number (with its country), whether the number is on WhatsApp, the concern you choose and your message. If you write to us by email, WhatsApp or social media, we receive what you send and the account details that service shows us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as the IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time, in server logs used to keep the site working and secure.

Information stored on your device. We remember your light or dark theme, your language and your answer to the cookie banner (see our Cookies Policy).

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site at present, and we never ask for payment details.

We use personal information to:

• read and reply to your enquiry;
• arrange a visit or a call, or discuss buying, training, a partnership or media requests with you;
• keep the site secure and prevent abuse, for example by limiting how many messages one visitor can send;
• remember your settings on the site;
• meet our legal obligations.

Where privacy law requires a legal reason, we rely on: taking steps you ask for before any agreement is made; our legitimate interest in running the site and answering enquiries securely and sensibly; your consent, for any optional cookies; and our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your message reaches us by email through Resend, an email delivery service, and is read by our team. Our hosting provider processes the technical data of visits. Both act on our behalf for those purposes only.

To protect the contact form from automated messages, it uses Google reCAPTCHA (the "I'm not a robot" box). When you use it, Google receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and how you interact with the box, and may set cookies. Google handles this under its own Privacy Policy and Terms.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect people, our rights or the security of the site.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including countries with different data protection rules. Where the law requires, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place.

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with it, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you follow up. Then we delete it. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period under its own routines. Settings stored in your browser stay there until you clear them.

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information: an encrypted connection to the site, checking and limiting what the contact form accepts, and keeping our email service key on the server, never in your browser. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it, or to delete it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• withdraw a consent you gave (for cookies, use Cookie settings in the footer);
• complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, write to us at info@al-leithracing.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on a request.

The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and the racing results websites we link to have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
